About Andy Oakley

Andy Oakley is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft in the Live Search Relevance team. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Jesus College, Cambridge, England.

Previously at Microsoft, Andy led the original program management team that built the MSDN and TechNet Publishing System, a database-driven content management and rendering platform using ASP.NET and SQL Server that hosts the millions of pages of technical documentation on those sites. Andy also worked on GotDotNet, a .NET Framework community web site and set up the initial platform for corporate blogging at Microsoft.

In 2005, Andy wrote a book on Monad (AKA Windows PowerShell) which was published by O'Reilly Media.

Andy lives in Seattle, WA.
